Whenever possible, repair or sell used appliances. Donate usable or repairable appliances to your local Christian or Mission Centers, Salvation Army or Goodwill Stores.
Unusable appliances containing FREON (air conditioners, freezers, refrigerators and dehumidifiers), can be taken to the following locations for proper disposal:
DELAWARE COUNTY:
East Central Recycling 701 E. Centennial Avenue, Muncie Call 282-1900 for fee information
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 8A-5P, Saturday 8A-12N
GRANT COUNTY:
Grant County Recycling Center 3939 Garthwaite Road, Gas City Call 677-6044 for fee information
Hours of Operation: Tuesday & Thursday, 8A-4P, Wednesday, 8A-6P Saturday, 8A-1P
MADISON COUNTY:
Madison County Recycling Center 2031 Mounds Road, Anderson Call 641-7978 for fee information
Hours of Operation: Tuesday & Thursday, 8A-4P Wednesday, 10A-6P** 2nd & 4th Saturday, 8A-12N**
