Cell Phone Recycling |
|
Generally known as Electronic Waste (E-Waste), it is estimated that more than 1 billion cell phones are in use worldwide, while more than 200 million unused phones sit idle in this country alone. Cell phones contain hazardous components that may cause harm to human health and the environment if not disposed of properly.
Cell phones (new, used & non-working), cell phone batteries, cell phone accessories (chargers, carrying cases, etc.), pagers, beepers and PDAs are accepted for recycling.
